The following text renders an account of Deleuze’s ontological and political characterization of “becoming Indian”, assembled from the Works of Spinoza. Deleuze, stemming from this notion, articulates a peculiar interpretation of the Spinozian philosophy that emerges as a framework to make his critique on a philosophy of State and capitalist modernity that annihilates all minor or minority movements. The transmission bridge that Deleuze articulates between the Spinozian ontology and the notion of “becoming Indian” clarifies the French thinker’s conception of philosophy as a libertarian exercise whose vocation is to be a community production that stands up and resists the axiomatic capitalist domination.
